Privacy Policy

Overview

AquariumVolume.com provides free aquarium volume calculators. This policy explains what information is collected when you visit this site, which services process information, and the choices available to you.

Calculators

The calculators on this site run entirely in your browser. The dimensions you enter and the results they produce are never transmitted to our servers or to any third party. You do not need to create an account or provide your name, email address, or any identifying information to use the calculators. The site may use local storage on your device for simple functional preferences, such as remembering your preferred measurement unit; this information stays on your device.

Contact Form

If you use the contact form, your name, email address, and message are sent through Web3Forms (api.web3forms.com) to our inbox. We use the information to receive and respond to your inquiry. See the Web3Forms privacy policy for details on how Web3Forms handles form submissions.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how the site is used — for example, which pages are visited and how visitors interact with the site, through Google's Enhanced Measurement feature (such as scrolling and clicks on outbound links). The values you enter into the aquarium calculators are never sent to Google Analytics.

GA4 uses first-party cookies (such as _ga and related cookies) that give your browser a random identifier, so repeat visits can be recognized for up to about two years. When a page loads, your browser also sends Google Analytics information such as your IP address, which Google uses to derive your approximate location (such as your city), and information about your device and browser.

Google Signals and user-provided data collection are disabled for this Analytics property, and the property is not linked to Google Ads, AdSense, or AdMob.

Google Analytics data is retained for 14 months. The retention period can reset when new user activity is recorded.

For visitors in the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom (UK), and Switzerland, Analytics storage is denied by default. Without your consent, Google may still receive basic, cookieless measurement data. When Analytics consent is granted and the consent integration permits Analytics storage, Google Analytics may set its measurement cookies.

Google Advertising (AdSense)

This site includes Google AdSense code. Google technology may contact Google and use cookies or local storage — including on Google's own domains — even when no ad is visibly shown. We do not claim that ads are currently being successfully served on this site.

When Google does serve ads, Google and participating third-party vendors may use cookies, web beacons, IP addresses, and related identifiers to show ads — including ads based on your visits to this and other sites — to measure their performance, and to help prevent fraud. If you refuse or limit consent, Google may serve limited or non-personalized ads, depending on your choices and the applicable ad-serving settings.

You can review or adjust ad personalization in Google's Ads Settings, and review opt-out options for participating advertising companies at aboutads.info.

Your Choices in the EEA, the UK, and Switzerland

Visitors in the EEA, the UK, and Switzerland are shown a consent message from Google's certified consent-management platform. You can choose "Consent," "Do not consent," or open "Manage options" to make more specific choices about individual purposes and partners. Where Google's privacy controls provide a privacy or cookie-settings link, you can use it to review or change your choices.

Other Third-Party Services

This site is hosted by Vercel, which, like any web host, receives standard request information (such as your IP address and the page requested) to deliver the site and keep it secure.

Data Retention

Google Analytics retention is described above. Information submitted through the contact form is processed by Web3Forms and delivered to our inbox. If you have questions about personal information we may hold, or want to make a privacy-related request, contact us using the address below.

Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding personal information about you, such as requesting access, correction, or deletion. You can contact us to make a privacy-related request. For information processed through Google services, you can also use the Google controls and privacy resources described above, including How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.

Changes to This Policy

We update this page when our practices change. The date at the top shows the latest revision.
